So there's this song. I don't know what it's called or who it's by, but it's one of Cece's 12-year-old-girl songs that she plays all the time when we’re in her room chatting. The only bit I know goes 'it comes and goes in waves, it always does' and the more I think about it the truer it is.

It's almost been a month. We've had 2 weeks of classes, plus today (Monday 24th September). So much has happened, I can't even begin to remember what's happened since last time I posted (I feel like I'm going to end up saying that every single time). Lina (Norway) is giving me a massage as I write this so I'm so distracted :)
So life at Pearson has finally begun to settle down. We've done a week of classes, have been assigned our first homework, and are getting ready for the intensity of IB life. On the non-academic side of life, we have put in our selections for our CAS (creativity, action and service) activities, listing them 1-6 according to priority, and we find them out tonight.
I’m lost for words (weird, I know) to describe just how incredible this place is. Student life (for a firstie in orientation week) is absolutely flat out, with no time to sit and think, and I love it. Every single person on campus is approachable and friendly, happy to answer silly questions from an Aussie first year. I love the people in my house, I love my buddy, I love my second year and I love how easy it is to make friends.
